In 2019, Shannon ran for West Lafayette City Council and won! She is the youngest ever elected official in her city. Not long after, she ran for student body president of Purdue University. Shannon is an alum of Running Start's Elect Her program. She is often a featured speaker at the High School program too. We can't wait to see what she does next!
